MINIMUM ORDER Headstart Nursery requires a 2-tray minimum order per crop
and variety on all sow orders except for Aster, Delphinium,
Lisianthus, and Snapdragon. There is no minimum on orders from
availability.
BROKERS All Headstart Nursery plug sales are conducted through brokers.
Please contact your local seed and plant broker or call us for
a list of brokers in your area.

All plug trays are 10” by 20”
black styrene trays.

effective July 1st, 2000. New counts are listed below (in
parentheses) for each tray.
98 cell tray: 1 3/8” x 1 13/16”
x 2” cells; sold as 95 plants/tray
200 cell tray: 15/16” x 15/16”
x 1” cells; sold as 190 (195) plants per tray
392 cell tray: 5/8” x 5/8” x
1 1/8” cells; sold as 375 (385) plants per tray

VOLUME DISCOUNTS Volume discounts are determined on an annual basis and will
be qualified on firm orders or past order history.

SHIPPING CLAIMS Headstart Nursery accepts no liability for damage or delays
once product has left our property. Shipments are made at customer’s
risk. Occasionally a shipment is damaged in transit; do not
refuse the shipment, or you lose your right to file a claim.
Inspect the shipment in the carrier’s presence. Note all damages
on the shipping papers and have the carrier’s agent sign the
papers, thereby acknowledging the damage. Save all cartons,
packing material, and damaged product for inspection. Contact
the carrier’s office immediately for further information.
OTHER CLAIMS Any product claims must be made within 72 hours after plants
are received. Please do not discard any trays until Headstart
Nursery has been notified of the problem; we may ask that the
trays be returned. If plants are defective, Headstart Nursery
will ship replacement trays at no charge as soon as possible.
Credits may be issued if replacement plants are not available.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY We warrant, to the extent of the purchase price, that plants
are as described on the container or invoice within recognized
tolerances. We give no other or further warranty, express or
implied, and all other or further warranties, including any
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose,
are excluded. We shall not be responsible for any loss of product,
profit, or any other indirect special consequential damages.
