Oro Farms Rooted Liners
Headstart Nursery is proud to be the exclusive west coast rooting station for Oro Farms’ complete annual product line. In this innovative new program, all order fulfillment for rooted liners will be handled directly through Oro Farms. Customer orders and delivery dates can be confirmed immediately based on live inventory counts.
Headstart Nursery and Oro Farms have had a close working relationship for many years. Since 2005, Headstart has grown Oro Farms’ trial material and hosted Spring Trials each year at their greenhouses in Gilroy, California.
Mike Fernandez, Sales and Production Manager for Oro Farms, says the company was very selective in choosing a production partner for this new rooting program. "We have great confidence in Headstart Nursery," Mike explains. "This new program will combine Headstart’s production expertise with Oro Farms’ order management and technical support. We feel this will be a huge benefit to our customers. They will know immediately if product is available to fulfill their orders, and they will receive consistent, high-quality rooted liners."
Oro Farms rooted liners will be grown in 102-cell Ellepot trays (sold as 100 plants). The extensive Oro Farms annual product line includes Petunias, Calibrachoa, Verbena, Dahlia, and many more selections, including the brand-new Sunpatiens® sun-tolerant Impatiens from Sakata.
